Happy Monday, Everyone!!
“Picture of the Week”
This week, there are two pictures, taken within a few seconds of each other and 180 degrees apart.
One is of April’s full moon setting on the morning of April 13, 2025, and the other is the beginning of the sunrise on that same morning.
It seems that every full moon has a name. According to The Old Farmer's Almanac, "some Eastern Native American tribes call April's full moon the "Pink Moon" due to its connection with early spring wildflowers".
This Pink Moon is also known as a “Micromoon”. This is something that happens when the position of moon is of a greater distance from our Earth than it normally is.
I hope everyone has a great week!
